whilst every other daily in NYC paid some kind of homage to that fateful Tuesday 11 years ago that was a lot like today…
Granted, they did two pages of “coverage,” a bogus political cartoon on Page 6 as well as a condescending editorial about the heroes of THAT day, yet no one has commented on the beauty that engulfed New York City in the aftermath.
A couple of weeks before 9/11, a rival crack gang decimated the front of a dealer’s house around the corner from where i was then living–South Jamaica in the 113th Pct–not that i gave a fuck since i think i had a Ruger P89 or 91 as my main walkaround, a Dirty Harry in my backpack, and some kind of Beretta for back up…and then i needed none
Crackheads are usually out on their last mission at 9 in the morning…the hustle and the bustle usually lasted until 11 on average in my neighbourhood–and as the second plane hit, you could hear a flea farting as he stopped leeching off of his host.
Then our towers started doing a “babel”……and i still can’t watch more than 30 seconds of that video without getting teary, and PISSED
