.The press has been drooling for a Mai Lai type massacre for ages, and now they almost got it–so where’s the We Support Our Troops volk now
My long-time readers know that i was helping take care of some kids whose parents were both stationed in Iraq–a big NO NO in war–and the Army even had wanted their grand-uncle, an Army pastor, to re-up
The New York Post, the official newspaper of Fox News, began their article with the following sentence: The rogue US soldier who allegedly gunned down 16 Afghan villagers in their homes was a trained sniper who suffered a traumatic brain injury before the rampage
As i’m writing, i’m listening to psüber-patriot rail against Obama instead of the Manson family-like Army policies that had this poor soldier serve three tours in Iraq and now a tour in Afghanistan…and you wonder WHY he snapped??i’m fond of saying i’m a veteran of the Crack Wars…and i’ve “served” in Far Rockaway, South Jamaica, Harlem & Cambria Heights during that time–the last was not as insane as the first three–as well as Compton in L.A. when gangbanging first took hold…and i’ve seen more than my fair share of bodybags & executions–so since i’m a few cards short of going totally Columbine, i can dig why this boy snapped…and mid-30′s is a boy in the greater schemata of the universe
Jimi was pro-Viet Nam war until the Panthers talked him out of it…and though i was always anti-Viet Nam..i was pro-Army being Jamaicarican…until the Iraqi crap started by George the First [Bush]
So it’s now time to bring the troops home…but let’s not PUNK like Reagan in Lebanon–like Billy Tecumsh Sherman said, WAR IS HELL–“retreat” westward–guns blazing–to our real allies in Jerusalem…methinks our Taliban “problem will be solved
Unfortunately, the Taliban’s gonna make sycophant Charles Gasparino look like a SCHMUCK as they blow up oil platforms in the Middle East

This may be the first time on record that I agree with you. The warriors have been put upon grievously. Time to come home and let the National Guard guard the nation.
The only real solution to islamofascism is to develop and exploit non-oil fuels, and that’s never going to happen until we stop rigging the game to make oil the only game in town.
