The price of a large cup of coffee @McDonald's has gone up 11 cents...and they stupidly put Take Out Tax on the receipt instead of sales tax

Dumb idea---gives you the impression that McDonald's is charging YOU tax to take somethang out

Mayor-for-Life Bloomberg is wetdreaming about tacking on some more money to the sales tax.....

Sirius-XM upped the subscription rate whilst Sirius and XM subscribers really don't benefit from the merger...you gotta pay extra if you want them both

The subway now cost a quarter more and there's two more fare hikes in the works...and if you live in New Yawk you now gotta pay sales tax on Amazon.

And i won't even get into the credit card company gouging.....

Where's my thesaurus...is stimulus plan a synonym for trickle down???

If you are a REpublican yes Stimulus Package means trickle down economis. I grew up in the 80's and if you think this is bad you ain't seen nothing yet.

ANY rocking the economic boat without regulation is going to be trickle down economics. Corporations will Get Theirs First, and they'll do it by raising prices on necessities (my hubby and I talked for two hours last night about politics, religion, education, the military industrial complex, and food and subsidization) and/or firing low-wage workers.
