    IF Obama replaced Tim Geithner with John Crudele, i’d find a way for me and my friends to vote to re-elect him at least twice

    Crudele has an excellent idea that’ll both jumpstart the housing market and naturally stimulate the economy, although the 401k industry will be dead set against it: allow people to tap into their retirement accounts in order to buy homes–although i’d temper that with allowing people to do home improvements too, and the construction industry will really boom again

    MY choice for financial czar also mentioned this in his column today: 

    People send ideas into Quirky and, if the company likes them, they are turned into products — like a spray attachment that you insert directly into a lemon or orange. Or a novel electrical wire and plug gizmo that can be contorted into all positions.

    The person who comes up with the idea gets a percentage of the revenue, and people who improve the product through suggestions over the Internet also get cut in.

    What he’s talking about is Quirky.com, where all you need is the idea, not the M.I.T. degree to make your dream a reality and make some money off of it!  Were THEY around a few years back, guess who’d have beaten Steve Jobs in the digital Sony-Walkman race wtf
